Designer Vincent Van Duysen Bio and a brief introduction to his history
Vincent Van Duysen, born in Lokeren, Belgium in 1962, graduated from the Sint Lucas School of Architecture in Ghent. From 1986 to 1989, he worked in Milan and Brussels; Subsequently, in 1990, he opened his own studio in Antwerp, focusing on architecture and interior design, which was his first studio. In his first residential project, Van Duysen is known for his subtle ability to integrate interior and architectural structures, which has surprised and amazed the entire Europe and even the world in his designs. These designs enrich the two elements of this combination. However, in 2000, due to the successful design of Concordia's office project, he finally became a great architect.
"Vincent van duysen+architects and designers"
In his works, the relationship between interior design and architecture is profound and closely related - in fact, furniture such as chairs, coffee tables, and some accessories are conceived from the perspective of architectural design, not limited to form, but expressed through careful perception of interior space and its relationship with external architecture. By interpreting architecture and redefining its dimensions, Van Duysen created very pure and important objects while retaining specific features and a solid foundation of form. Vincent Van Duysen Architects has numerous projects, including the first project in the Belgian hotel industry, as well as many important international projects, including residential interventions in London, New York, and Milan, offices in Beirut and Riyadh, and high-end commercial space settings in Paris, Rome, and Hong Kong. He works for the best furniture brands, including B&B Italia, where he signs the surface of small tables.
