Pierre Jeannerett is a Swiss born architect and designer known for designing the Gandhi Bhavan Building at the University of Punjab in India.

Jeanner collaborated with his cousin Le Corbusier in the Le Corbusier Pierre Jeanner studio for a long time, and his most significant contribution was the design of 14 types of volumes

Housing in the residential area of Chandigarh, India. After the construction was completed, Jeannerett stayed in Chandigarh and was inspired to create the Chandigarh chair, informally known as the "Jeannerett chair".

Influenced by sporty furniture, Jeannerett's works celebrate the beauty of natural wood. Recently, his solid wood and rattan designs have been popular among enthusiasts of simplicity, strong contours, and natural materials.
